Back in South Korea, Kang-In Lee has issued an apology after the violent altercation with Heung-min Son.
Things are serious in the land of the morning calm. Back in the national team with South Korea, Kang-In Lee had to publicly apologize for his behavior during the last gathering.
“I am truly sorry for disappointing you all, and I will do my best to not only be a good football player but also a better person,” he said during a specially organized press briefing.
“I have also learned a lot from this experience. I believe everyone’s bitter comments will be of great help to me in the future, and I see it as a period of deep reflection. From now on, I will strive to become not only a good footballer but also a better person, more helpful to the team and more exemplary. I will do my best to achieve this.”
