Neymar has remained very close to Dani Alves despite the rape case for which he was convicted. The proof is that he pays all the legal fees.

Dani Alves has his appeal being examined by the Spanish judiciary, regarding his conviction for rape. He has promised not to flee. Daniel Alves, sentenced to four and a half years in prison for sexual assault, has been serving his sentence behind bars for over a year.

However, he was released this Wednesday because his lawyers argued for his acquittal, claiming that the sexual relations were consensual. The player had broken his silence to request his release and asserted that he had no intention of fleeing. “I believe in justice, I will not flee,” he told the judge, as reported by AS.

Dani Alves has no money left

The player is granted provisional freedom by the Barcelona court, pending the outcome of his appeal, under two conditions: paying a one million euro bail and surrendering his Brazilian and Spanish passports.

And according to information from La Vanguardia, this one million euros will be financed and paid by Neymar’s father. The Neymar clan had already paid the amount requested for his sentence reduction during his conviction. Dani Alves, on the other hand, would be financially ruined. “I found myself practically ruined because they froze my account in Brazil and terminated all my contracts,” the Brazilian confessed during his trial.
