Kylian Mbappé took a playful jab at Mattéo Guendouzi during a training session with the French national team.
Called up to the French squad as a replacement for Antoine Griezmann, Mattéo Guendouzi found himself on the receiving end of Kylian Mbappé’s banter on Thursday during training after a failed technical move.
“Darn, we’re wasting time,” Mbappé quipped as Mattéo Guendouzi struggled to control the ball. However, it seemed more like light-hearted teasing rather than applying any real pressure.
This isn’t the first time the former Marseille player has been on the receiving end of Mbappé’s banter. During the World Cup in Qatar, he famously remarked, “You shoot with fear! You’re not placing it, you’re shooting with fear.”
