Following the announcement of Marco Verratti’s (30 years old) departure to Al-Arabi, Kylian Mbappé (24 years old, 3 matches and 5 goals in Ligue 1 this season), the Paris Saint-Germain forward, expressed his gratitude towards the Italian midfielder.
He saluted Verratti, describing him as one of the “best players” he’s had the privilege to play alongside.
“A player and person of exceptional quality. Having the privilege to be by your side all these years has been an immense pleasure. Your time here will never be forgotten or overlooked. One of the best players I’ve ever seen. Thank you, my friend, I will miss you a lot,” wrote the 2018 World Cup champion on Instagram.
